A free screen recorder with auto zoom for Windows

When you record a tutorial or a demo, the viewer cannot read small text on a full screen. Zooming in by hand later takes a long time. PointerStudio does it for you: it follows your cursor while you record, and builds a smooth zoom on each click.

How auto zoom works

Record your screen, a window or an area. PointerStudio notes where you click.
Turn on Zoom on clicks in the editor. A zoom block appears on the timeline for each click.
Choose the zoom level (for example 1.80x) and the feel of the move: Smooth, Gentle, Snappy or Even.
Add, move or delete any zoom on the timeline if you want to change it.

Make it look finished

Put your screen on a gradient, a wallpaper, a color or your own picture. Round the corners, add a frame and a shadow, and pick the shape: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 4:3 or 21:9.

Edit and export

Cut and split on a real timeline, blur or cover private details, show your keystrokes, and add music. Export an MP4 in 720p, 1080p or 1440p. There is no watermark and no time limit.
